So what do we do when our guru falls off the altar and shatters our belief systems? What do we think? Who do we turn to for spiritual and physical healing? How do we repair a deeply betrayed soul?

We are living in a time of disclosure. Painful truths are being revealed to us on a daily basis.

As Charles Dickens said, “It was the best of times, it was the worst of times, it was the age of wisdom, it was the age of foolishness, it was the epoch of belief, it was the epoch of incredulity, it was the season of Light, it was the season of Darkness, it was the spring of hope, it was the winter of despair.”

For many trusting their hearts and souls to their spiritual teachers this quote has never been more true. We are living in an age of lies, fake news and the distasteful and infinitely disappointing news that our beloved and inspiring yoga gurus, Buddhist teachers and religious priests have not been practicing what they so avidly preach. Their shadow sides have been brought to a not-so-graceful light. Charges of sexual abuse, verbal abuse, and the abhorrent corruption of young people has brought down the reputations of many of the founders of the ‘New Age’ yoga and meditation movement.

So what do we do when our guru falls off the altar and shatters our belief systems? What do we think? Who do we turn to for spiritual and physical healing? How do we repair a betrayed soul?

When a spiritual teacher/guru/priest breaks the trust and crushes tender boundaries of those who are awakening, the student may experience any range of negative effects – physically, emotionally, energetically and spiritually. Many of these gurus have the ability to penetrate deeply – beyond the physical realm and into the energy body on a  multi-dimension level. The wounding could trigger old lifetimes with similar wounding, and depending upon the person, set off a downward spiral.

As someone who holds her mission to help others as a sacred unwritten contract to be a compassionate witness, caring cheerleader, and guiding light to those whose trust me with their process, I find it both disturbing and incomprehensible that many yoga and meditation gurus (not to mention religious priests) have been found guilty of harming their vulnerable and trusting students.

My yoga guru was YogiJi aka Yogi Bhajan, founder of Kundalini Yoga whom I met in 1999. After 20 years of practice and teaching Kundalini Yoga I am at a cross-roads. Recently I read an investigative report on his conduct. In the past, I had heard that he was unfaithful and had affairs with his secretaries. At the time, I didn’t like this but felt that his teachings were invaluable and gave me many tools to use for my own growth and the students I was teaching at my yoga studio. I did begin to look a little deeper into some practices and began to use my discernment as to which meditations to use and which to avoid – knowing he was human and, as such, fallible.

However, the recent report was horrible. (I don’t need to go into details and if you are interested you may search the internet for the report as it’s in the public domain.)

This leaves me feeling as though I would like to apply some further discernment to what teachings and techniques hold the vibration that is harmonious with me and the people I work with. My sense, through muscle testing and field work teaching, is that the frequent posture alignment to 60 degrees within kriyas is no longer coherent with the current divine feminine light codes. I experienced a negative spin aka vertigo and nausea after practicing with the 60 degree command this last year. If you are on the path of ascension I might suggest changing those angles to 45 degrees which support the double diamond and divine feminine spiritual/energetic structures.

All you can do is try it and see how you feel, right? Will I continue teaching Kundalini Yoga classes? I’m not sure yet. I will take a break to let all of this settle and see what comes into my awareness and what I’m guided to teach.

Something to consider

Just because the male yoga gurus fell prey to their ego doesn’t mean everything they did was wrong. Just notice that ALL of the big four yoga founders were brought up on charges – if not posthumously. This tells me that perhaps some negative energy – and there are many – may have hijacked them on some level to keep people from waking up further. This doesn’t make it right or excuse their behavior at all. You know the dark does not like the increasing light that these men brought in. Remember they are human and had their own soul karmic contracts as well.

Just to be clear, I abhor any of the misconduct and I extend my heart felt compassion to those who suffered the abuse personally. It’s a crime that spans dimensions and I believe the karmic repercussions will be significant for the perpetrators.

Regardless, don’t let it hijack you!

That said …

Take what serves you and disregard the rest

Yup it totally stinks. It’s outrageous. Nothing is more upsetting than someone breaking their own rules and abusing our trust. We expect way more from our spiritual leaders.

However, we can’t fight reality so don’t throw the baby out with the bathwater.

Remember. Remember who you are at your core — An Infinite Being Having a Human Experience. Remember what you learned – to be the neutral compassionate witness.

Within Unity all polarity merges and becomes whole. If you allow yourself to move through the negative side of polarity, the positive is right there waiting for you.The path to freedom and higher consciousness is set up with experiences that our soul self orchestrated for us to learn. The quicker we take the perspective of learning the quicker we find our way out. I know, first hand, that this is way easier said than done. I know it hurts.

Remember we were taught some profound truths and given ancient skills to heal ourselves. Avoiding the dark potholes is our task only. But, if you get caught in the dark only your own light will save you. Ultimately we are the ones. We have UNITY within which, if called upon, will come through.

Trust and faith in our own inner knowing and our newly acquired wisdom will serve us and set us FREE.

Only you can set yourself free from victim consciousness programming.

You are Your Own Guru

The level to which we are destroyed by someone or something is the level to which we gave away our power or trusted someone to make decisions for us.

It’s time to become your own guru.
How to Deprogram Yourself from the Negative Energies and FALSE LIGHT
  1. Call forward your own GOD Self.
  2. Check your nervous system for signs of PTSD – bad thoughts, anxiety, depression, etc.
  3. Check your meridians, nadis and spiritual/lightbody architecture and recalibrate yourself to your own Christic consciousness or God self, etc.
  4. Delete or terminate any implied or implicit vows, contracts or agreements.
  5. Terminate any mental constructs, consiousness traps or programs.
  6. Cut energetic cords.
  7. Clear all shock, trauma and injury from all cells in your body.
  8. Call back all aspects of your soul, power and energy. For those affected personally, you may need to call back soul fragments from holographic pockets or phantom areas – YOU CAN REGAIN ALL THAT WAS LOST and continue your ascension and spiritual growth as a truly Angelic Human. I do this work successfully with abuse survivors on a regular basis.
  9. Command your body and space as sacred and say “Clear and remove all False Light according to Cosmic Sovereign Law.” This part may take practice and patience.
  10. If your mind won’t let it go, try The Work by Byron Katie. She’s the real deal.
  11. Ask for help if you need it. Reach out to others.

This is the work I do. I’m only a text or a phone call away.

Please take what serves your growth and leave the rest. We are on this journey together walking on parallel paths towards the one true source.

Infinite blessings of light and love,

Kaye
